Beyonce Shuns The X Factor For Strictly Come Dancing

Beyonce Knowles will make a special guest appearance on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing next month.

The singer, who releases her new album, 'I Am...Sasha Fierce', on November 18th, chose the programme over its Saturday night ITV rival The X Factor.

According to tabloid reports, music mogul Simon Cowell is “fuming” that Beyonce shunned the singing competition for the popular celebrity ballroom dancing show.

Take That are also expected to make a special appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, while Britney Spears and Mariah Carey are both set to appear on The X Factor.

As previously reported, Beyonce has said she would like to be known as Sasha Fierce for her new album.

The former Destiny's Child star said Sasha Fierce is her more “fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side” that comes out when she performs.
