Gene Simmons: 'Illegal Downloading Kills The Next U2, Kiss or The BeatlesMay 5, 2010
Kiss stars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have hit out at illegal file-sharing saying the perpetrators are responsible for killing off the next Kiss, The Beatles or U2.
The rock veterans, who are in the UK this month for their huge arena tour, reckon illegal downloading is just as bad as stealing a motor. “It’s immoral,” Stanley complained. “The idea that you’re sharing files - you can’t share something you don’t own. It’s like saying I’m gonna share your transportation and then steal your car.” Gene Simmons added to the Daily Star: “The fans downloading for free are responsible for killing the next Kiss, U2 or The Beatles. It destroys hope, you prick motherf***er.” (by Scott Colothan) See also: Lady Gaga To Record Song With KISS? (24.08.2010)
