U2 Spider-Man Musical Opening DelayedNovember 5, 2010
The opening for the U2-scored Broadway adaptation of Spider-Man has been delayed, according to reports.
The production was due to open for previews on November 14, but crew have asked for more time to complete preparations. It comes as two stars of the show were injured during rehearsals, reports the New York Post. Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark is scheduled to open officially on December 21 at Foxwoods Theatre. U2's Bono and The Edge have created the music for the production, and said earlier this year they were "very, very proud" of the musical and praised the cast.
