Broken Bells, Seasick Steve, Paolo Nutini To Play Meltdown FestivalBroken Bells, Seasick Steve and Paolo Nutini are set to appear at this summer's Meltdown festival in London, it's been announced.

The event, which has been curated by Richard Thompson, takes place at the Southbank Centre throughout June.

Meltdown will begin with Thompson's Cabaret of Souls on June 11.

It will be followed on June 12 by A Celebration of Kate McGarrigle, which features the late singer's children, Rufus and Martha Wainwright.

Other performers include Codeine Velvet Club (June 12), Seasick Steve (14), Paolo Nutini (15) and Elvis Costello (20).

Broken Bells, the side project of Danger Mouse and The Shins' James Mercer, will close the event on June 21.
