Tom Jones Releases Bob Dylan Cover To Mark 70th BirthdayJune 7, 2010
Sir Tom Jones has released covers of songs by Bob Dylan and John Lee Hooker to mark his 70th birthday today (June 7).
The tracks - Dylan’s ‘What Good Am I’ and Hooker’s ‘Burning Hell’ - are available as a download or limited edition 7” split single. Both songs are taken from Sir Tom’s new album ‘Praise And Blame’, which is released on July 26. As previously reported, Sir Tom is expected to celebrate his 70th birthday with family and friends. In his native Wales, members of the public have re-recorded a cover of his hit ‘Delilah’, which will be broadcast on BBC One Wales.
