Bruno Mars Named Best Songwriter Of 2010 In PollJanuary 18, 2011
Bruno Mars has been named the best songwriter of 2010 in a recent poll.
The singer and his writing partners, known as The Smeezingtons, were awarded the Biggest Songwriters of 2010 by industry magazine Music Week. Mars, along with Ari Levine and Philip Lawrence, have written many of last year's top-ten hits including hisown hit 'Just The Way You Are', Cee Lo Green's 'F*ck You', B.O.B's 'Nothing On You' and Travie McCoy's 'Billionaire'. Other songwriters nominated were Norwegian duo Stargate, who produced Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World)' and Katy Perry's 'Firework'. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars has announced details of his UK tour, which will take place in March. Tickets are on sale now.
