Iron Maiden Knock Eminem Off UK Album Chart TopspotAugust 23, 2010
Iron Maiden have ended Eminem’s reign at the top of the UK album chart.
The veteran rock band’s 15th studio album ‘The Final Frontier’ is a new entry at number one. Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ fell to number two. The Saturdays are at number three with ‘Headlines’, while for chart-toppers Arcade Fire are at number five with 'The Suburbs'. Former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows, aka I Am Arrows, was a notable new entry at number 38 with ‘Sun Comes Up Again’. Meanwhile, in the singles countdown, Roll Deep scored their second number one of the year with ‘Green Light’. Last week’s number one, Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’, fell to number two, according to the Official Charts Company.
