U2, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen Set For Hall Of Fame ConcertsJuly 23, 2009
U2 and Metallica are among the acts set to take part in concerts celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and Eric Clapton will also feature at the gigs at New York's Madison Square Garden on October 29 and 30. Organisers have also promised that both concerts will boast a host of special collaborations and guest appearances. The US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was established in 1984 by the late Ahmet Etegun, who founded Atlantic Records. Inductees over the last 25 years have included Metallica, Run DMC and Sir Paul McCartney. (by Jason Gregory) See also: U2 Promise 'Glastonbury On Steroids' Performance (28.04.2011)
