OK Go Split With Record Label EMI

March 11, 2010
OK Go Split With Record Label EMIOK Go have split with EMI in order to set-up their own record label.

The group, who only released new album 'Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky' two months ago, said they had parted by “mutual agreement”.

In a statement, the band said: “We’d like to thank the people who have worked so hard on our behalf.

“And we’d like to thank our fans for making this choice an easy one for us.”

OK Go are currently in the process of a new label, Paracadute Recordings, which will control their musical output.

The announcement comes just a week after the release of the video for their new single 'This Too Shall Pass'.

The single-shot video, which features a complex Rube Goldberg machine, has already attracted millions of views on YouTube.
