The Dead Weather For Secret London ShowJune 17, 2009
The Dead Weather will play a London show at a secret location this coming Monday (June 22).
The band of course is the brainchild of Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and features Jack White (The White Stripes / The Raconteurs), Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Jack Lawerence (The Raconteurs) and Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age). The exclusive live event is part of the 'From The Basement' series and will take place at an undisclosed basement in the capital. Sadly no fans are invited to the show, but it will be broadcast live on www.ftblive.com and via Nokia N97 phones. It will also be shown exclusively to fans at four independent record stores in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Brighton. The online performance will serve as a warm-up for their British live debut at the Kentish Town Forum on June 24. The Dead Weather’s debut album ‘Horehound’ is released on Third Man / Columbia on July 13. (by Scott Colothan) See also: The Dead Weather To Release Triple Decker Record (15.09.2010)
