Courtney Love: 'Kurt Cobain Could Be Homosexual Now'

April 21, 2010
Courtney Love: 'Kurt Cobain Could Be Homosexual Now'Courtney Love has said she is “sick” of being asked about her widow and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Love, who married Cobain in 1992, said it was unfair to expect her to be able to answer questions about the late singer.

"I am not his spokesperson on Earth," she told NME magazine.

"I don't know what he'd be like now, he could be into society girls, he could be into fat girls, he could be homosexual.

“We don't know, he died at 27."

The Hole star also revealed during the interview that she had decided to revert to her birth name Courtney Michelle Harrison because she no longer liked her stage alias.

"We love her when she goes onstage, but I don't need her in the rest of my life," she said of her persona as Courtney Love.

The singer is due to return to the UK next month for a series of live dates with Hole in support of their new album ‘Nobody’s Daughter’.
