The Strokes To Release New Single As Free Download Tomorrow (February 9)

The Strokes comeback single 'Under Cover Of Darkness' will be released as a free download this week.

Fans will be able to obtain the track from thestrokes.com for free for 48 hours from tomorrow (February 9) at 7.35pm (GMT).

'Under Cover Of Darkness', which will also debut on radio on Wednesday, will then be available as a digital download from iTunes on February 15.

A 30 second snippet of the song surfaced online earlier this week, but has since been removed.

The track is the first single to be taken from the New York band's much-anticipated new album 'Angles', due out on March 21 in the UK and March 22 in the US.

The album is the follow-up to 2006's 'First Impressions Of Earth' and was self-produced by the band.
