The Strokes To Headline Reading And Leeds Festival 2011November 19, 2010
The Strokes are in the running to headline Reading and Leeds festival next year, it is rumored.
The group are currently in the studio finishing off their anticipated fourth album. The band are looking to play the new album to a heavier rock audience at Leed/Reading, The Sun reports. "It's no surprise that Reading and Leeds bosses want The Strokes to be the big headliner in 2011, given their reputation as a live act," a source told the paper. The album, produced by Joe Chiccarelli who has previously worked with U2, Beck, Bjork, is set for release early Spring 2011.
