The Streets Ready To Start Work On Last Ever AlbumDecember 19, 2008
The Streets' frontman Mike Skinner has revealed that the collective are ready to begin work on their last album.
In a message on the band's website, Skinner said he was just awaiting delivery of a custom-made mixing board. "I've got four songs. Not sure whether they're up to album standard so instead of the usual process of total A&R confusion I will post some on tinterweb at random,” he wrote. In reference to the cover of the band's latest album 'Everything Is Borrowed', Skinner added: "And when The Streets lighter turns blue next year we're on the last album." The band's fourth album was released in September this year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Mike Skinner Officially Retires The Streets (07.02.2011)
