Snow Patrol To Release New Album In 2011June 8, 2010
Snow Patrol’s drummer Jonny Quinn has confirmed that the band plan to release a new album in 2011.
Quinn told the Daily Record the follow-up to 2008’s ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ would arrive between next February and July. “We're going to record new material in October,” the drummer said. Quinn said the group had been writing material for the album, and that they preferred to come up with ideas outdoors. "I live by the sea in Ireland and I find that's the most inspiring time, sitting with a guitar on the beach, but we write on the tour bus, in dressing rooms, in the studio and in phone boxes, because no one is using them because everyone has mobile phones,” he said. Snow Patrol performed a huge outdoor gig at Bangor’s Ward Park on Saturday (June 5). (by Jason Gregory) See also: Snow Patrol Recording New 'Electronic' Album (28.09.2010)
