X Factor Finalists And Take That Dominate UK ChartsDecember 5, 2010
The X Factor finalists have taken the top spot in the UK singles chart for a second week running with their charity single 'Heroes'.
The track, a cover version of the David Bowie classic, has stayed at number one despite tough competition. Nicole Scherzinger went straight into number three with her new single 'Poison', whilst Ellie Goulding was a non-mover at number two with 'Your Song'. Elsewhere in the chart, Rihanna appears in three tracks in the UK top 10 with 'Only Girl (In The World)' slipping to number seven and 'What's My Name' featuring Drake at number eight. The singer also features on David Guetta's new single 'Who's That Chick', a new entry at number ten. In the album chart, Take That's 'Progress' made it a third week at number one, selling more than 900,000 copies. Other new entries included N-Dubz's 'Love Live Life' at number seven and Duffy's 'Endlessly' at number nine. (by Holly Frith) See also: Robbie Williams 'Big Brother' To Princess Beatrice (12.04.2011)
