Keith Richards Hints At Special Rolling Stones GigsMay 10, 2010
Keith Richards has hinted that the Rolling Stones may stage a series of one-off gigs which see them play some of their most famous albums in full.
The guitarist told XFM that the idea had been suggested within the group, but that any plans had yet to be finalised. “I have heard a rumour being passed around, but it's in the rumour area," Richards said. “I have heard the idea being mentioned in passing. Where there's smoke, there's fire, you know? He added: “That idea has occurred a few years back, where tonight you do 'Let It Bleed'… it’s an idea that’s been around, but we haven't taken it by the horns yet.” The Rolling Stones last tour, A Bigger Bang, ended in 2007. Richards’ comments coincide with the re-release of the band’s 1972 album 'Exile On Main Street'. (by Jason Gregory) See also: The Rolling Stones 'Have No Firm Plans To Tour' (02.02.2011)
