Doves: 'Lady Gaga Needs To Cover One Of Our Songs'

April 8, 2010
Doves: 'Lady Gaga Needs To Cover One Of Our Songs'Doves singer Jimi Goodwin says that he would like to see Lady Gaga cover their song, 'Sulphur Man'.

Goodwin said the US singer cold bring something different to the track, and also increase his royalty payments.

“I never earmark my songs for other people, but I think someone female could take ‘Sulphur Man’ somewhere else,” he told Spinner.

“Someone huge, Lady Gaga because she'd make a mint. I need the dough.”

'Sulphur Man' is included on the bonus disc that accompanies the band's new retrospective, 'The Places Between: The Best of Doves'.

The album was released on Monday (April 5).
