Ronnie Wood 'Calls Mick Jagger About Rolling Stones Future'July 28, 2008
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, who is currently in rehab, has said he will return to the group before 2010.
Wood apparently telephoned frontman Mick Jagger, who celebrated his 65th birthday on Saturday, to reaffirm his commitment. The guitarist entered rehab earlier this month to tackle his drink problems following reports of an alleged relationship with a Russian model. Speaking to the People, a source said Wood wants to get better for his family and “also for the band." "They want to keep touring as long as they physically can and Ronnie doesn't want to let the others down. "He is doing really well in rehab and everyone close to him hopes he will make a full recovery and quit drinking once and for all. Mick has been really supportive and is delighted Ronnie has finally seen sense." (by Jason Gregory) See also: The Rolling Stones 'Have No Firm Plans To Tour' (02.02.2011)
