N-Dubz Sign Five Album Deal With Def JamMay 20, 2010
N-Dubz have signed a five album deal with the US-based record label Def Jam, it’s been reported.
The UK trio of Dappy, Fazer and Tulisa are expected to fly to America in the summer to record with songwriters Jim Jonsin and Dr Luke. Max Gousse, senior vice-president of A&R for Island Def Jam Music Group, told The Sun: "I signed N-Dubz because they're great entertainers and speak to London's youth unlike any other band. “We want to bring their message to the rest of the world." Fazer said the band were pleased to have secured the deal, and that it was “turning into a monster year for us”. Widely regarded as one of the leading US hip-hop labels, Def Jam is home to the likes of Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Lady Gaga.
