Beth Ditto Releases Simian Mobile Disco Produced Solo EP

January 11, 2011
Beth Ditto Releases Simian Mobile Disco Produced Solo EPBeth Ditto has released her debut solo EP, which is self-titled.

The EP is available now on 12” vinyl and as a digital download from Beatport, ahead of a full release in the spring.

Produced by Simian Mobile Disco, the EP includes the songs 'Do You Need Someone', 'Goodnight Good Morning', 'I Wrote The Book' and 'Open Heart Surgery'.

The production due told Gigwise: “We basically started where we left off with cruel intentions and went deeper into psychedelic disco territory.

“We tried to keep it pretty raw and simple, all the while focussing on Beth's brilliant melodies."

The EP arrives just over a year after Gossip released their last album 'Music For Men'. It is not currently clear whether Ditto plans to release a solo album in addition to the EP.
