Devo Planning First New Studio Album In 20 Years

March 12, 2009
Devo Planning First New Studio Album In 20 YearsDevo are to release their first new studio album in almost 20 years, it's been announced.

The band, who formed in Ohio in 1973, will release their new effort in autumn next year.

"De-evolution has finally arrived and who better to guide us through the mess than Devo,” a message said on their website.

Devo, who are famed for wearing “power domes” on their head, last released an album, 'Smooth Noodle Maps', in 1990.

The band will play a one off show at the Forum in Kentish Town, London on May 6th.
