Ash Take London Astoria Crowds Back To '1977'

September 8, 2008
Ash Take London Astoria Crowds Back To '1977'Ash took fans in London back to the mid 90s last night (September 6th) as they played their debut album, ‘1977’, in full.

The bands gig at the Astoria followed a similar show at the Roundhouse in Camden on Friday (September 5th).

Both gigs were the first time the band had played the album, which was released in 1996, from start to finish.

‘1977’ topped the charts in the UK and spawned the hugely successful tracks ‘Girls From Mars’ and ‘Kung Fu’.
