Akon: 'Lady Gaga Is Writing Crazy New Songs'

April 22, 2010
Akon: 'Lady Gaga Is Writing Crazy New Songs'Lady Gaga’s manager has revealed that the singer is continuing to write while performing on her Monster Ball world tour.

Akon said the star had created some “crazy” tracks for the follow-up to her multi-million selling album, ‘The Fame Monster’.

Akon is due to travel to meet up with the star when the tour arrives back in Europe later this month.

“She has a tour bus with a studio in it,” he told MTV. “Some of the songs I've heard are going to be crazy. She's getting bigger and better."

Despite his background as a producer, Akon said he takes more of a backseat with Lady Gaga.

"All I'm doing at the end of the day is listening to the tracks Gaga has written and approving them for her album,” he said.

“She has producers that she works with outside of myself and they are coming up with some incredible records. But the beauty of it is she knows exactly what she wants.

"So it just makes it easier for me."

Lady Gaga’s European tour returns to Europe and the UK in May.
