The Killers Reveal Morrissey Inspiration Behind Royal Albert Hall ConcertSeptember 23, 2008
The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers says the band's decision to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall was inspired by a video of Morrissey playing at the venue.
The Las Vegas band are due to perform at the venue on November 3rd in support of their new album 'Day And Age'. Speaking to the BBC, Flowers said: "Growing up I had a great video of Morrissey playing at the Royal Albert Hall so we're all real excited about it” "I've only ever been on the outside of it. I've never actually been in." Flowers also commented on the band's new single 'Human', which will precede the release of their album. "It is a new direction for us and that song has kept its head above water for two years now,” he said. "It is kind of an old song and it just feels like the right one to release." 'Day And Age', the group's third LP, will be available from November 23rd. (by Jason Gregory) See also: The Killers To Play Hard Rock Calling Festival 2011 (18.04.2011)
