The Killers: 'We're Worried About Our Carbon Footprint'August 26, 2008
The Killers have revealed that they're concerned about the impact their touring schedule has on the environment.
The American band, who are due to release their new album, 'Day and Age', in November, said they have already been discussing their carbon footprint. “It is something we’re going to think about in the future,” bassist Mark Stroemer told the Daily Star. “It’s worrying to see how much waste is left over at gigs and festivals. It does make you think.” The Killers are expected to return to the UK in October or November to unveil they're new album, which has been produced by Stuart Price. As previously reported, the band headlined the Reading and Leeds festivals alongside Metallica and Rage Against The Machine last weekend.
