Brett Anderson: Suede To Carry On After Reunion GigsDecember 14, 2010
Suede frontman Brett Anderson has said the band are likely to carry on performing following their recent reunion.
The group, who split in 2003, have a played a series of one-off shows this year, but until now have remained tight lipped over whether they will continue. However, in an interview with XFM, Anderson said he and his bandmates had enjoyed performing live again, particularly at their recent gig at London's O2 Arena. "We all really enjoyed the tour - because we did a European tour leading up to the O2 - and the O2 was really special as well and I think we all enjoying doing this at the moment and so I think in all likelyhood we'll probably carry on doing stuff next year,” he said. “Specifically we don't really know what yet, to be honest.” But Anderson was more vague over whether an extended reunion would be accompanied by a new album.
