Pulp Reform To Play 2011 GigsNovember 8, 2010
Pulp have reformed and will play several gigs next summer, it’s been announced.
The reunion will include the band’s original line-up, Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber. The first gigs announced are headline slots Primavera Sound in Barcelona on May 27 and London’s Wireless festival on July 3. The gigs will mark the first time the band’s original line-up have played together since August 1996. In a statement, the band said they would be playing songs “from all periods of their career”. They added: “Yes, that means they’ll be playing your favourites.” Tickets for the Wireless festival go on sale on Friday (November 12) at 9am.
