Professor Green Bottle Attacker To Get 'Substantial' Prison SentenceOctober 26, 2010
A man who attacked Professor Green with a bottle has been told to extend a “very substantial” prison sentence.
Anthony Jones, 25, thrust the broken glass into the rapper’s neck outside a club in May 2009. He was convicted of wounding with intent at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday (October 26). He had denied the charge. Judge John Lafferty said Jones had made up a “cock and bull story” regarding the incident with Green, reports The Sun. He has been remanded in custody until November 19. Green has since found fame with his debut album 'Alive Till' I'm Dead', which was released earlier this year. The rapper is set to embark on a UK tour in December.
