Take That: 'We're Not Headlining Glastonbury Festival 2011'October 27, 2010
Take That have denied reports that they are playing next year's Glastonbury festival.
The group had been linked to the event next June following their reunion with Robbie Williams. There is also a slot in their recently announced Progress tour which would enable them to appear at the Somerset bash. But singer Gary Barlow said they were not playing the event, while Mark Owen added that their production was not suitable. “We have a big production, we have a big show, I don't think we could put our stage in there, I don't think it's possible,” he said. "If we're having a good time we might get on the bus and go down. We can go and take our caravan and watch a few other bands." All three headliners for next year's Glastonbury have already been booked, organiser Michael Eavis has said. The festival is sold out.
