Robbie Williams And Gary Barlow Reunite At Help For Heroes GigSeptember 13, 2010
Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow have performed together for the first time in 15 years at a charity concert in London.
The two Take That stars sang their new single ‘Shame’ at the Help For Heroes gig at Twickenham Stadium last night (September 12). "It has been 15 years in the making," Williams said as he introduced Barlow on stage. "My wife calls him my boyfriend, I call him my captain, you call him Gary Barlow." The emotional return comes just months after Williams announced that he had rejoined his former band for a new album and tour. The concert, which was screened on the BBC, also featured performances from Plan B, Tom Jones and Enrique Inglesias. Pixie Lott, The Saturdays and opera singer Katherine Jenkins were also on the bill. The musical acts were joined by a line-up of comedians, including Bruce Forsyth, Jack Dee and Michael McIntyre. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Help For Heroes charity, which helps troops injured in combat.
