Robbie Williams And Take That Sharing London StudioMarch 30, 2009
Robbie Williams and his former band Take That are sharing the same London studio.
Williams is recording his new solo album alongside producer Trevor Horn, while singer Gary Barlow is working on his own material. Horn told the BBC it was clear that the pair were still “really good friends”. "They're all in the building. Gary is in one of the rooms and Robbie's there, so they bump into each other and they get on brilliantly well," he said. Last week, Williams gave his strongest indication yet that he intended to reunite with his former band. He told the Daily Mirror newspaper that he had rekindled his friendship with his former bandmates, over a decade after he left the boy band. But Williams' spokesman said there were no immediate plans for him to rejoin his the band. "He is fully focused on getting the album together and there are no plans for a Take That reunion," the spokesman said. Williams' as-yet-untitled new album is due to be released this autumn.
