Slipknot's Joey Jordison Brings Back Murderdolls For 2010March 24, 2010
Slipknot's Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 are bringing back their horror-punk band Murderdolls for 2010.
The duo are currently recording second album ‘Women and Children Last’ in the Hollywood Hills with a view to release it in the summer. The record is the follow-up to their 2002 debut 'Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls' which peaked at number 40 on the UK album chart. The duo are imminently set to announce a new band line-up, with summer festival appearances heavily rumoured too. Joey Jordison said of the reunion: "We’ve waited 8 years to make sure, but this is the perfect time to bring Murderdolls back to the world. “We've got nothing to lose, and nothing to prove. So raise your fist along with us motherf***ers, and sorry if you get a bloody nose along the way. It’s about to get ugly!..."Women and Children Last"!!!” Similarly understated, Wednesday 13 – real name Joseph Poole – added: “We don't look at this as a return...this is REVENGE! The music scene today is as boring and stale as it was in 2002, when we first formed the band. This time around, everyone is the enemy!” (by Scott Colothan) See also: Corey Taylor Rules Out New Slipknot Album (07.03.2011)
