System Of A Down 'To Play Download Festival 2011'

System Of A Down have fuelled speculation they are set to headline next year's Download festival.

The group, who have been on hiatus since 2006, only have one confirmed date next summer in Paris.

But in a message on Twitter bassist Shavo Odadjian hinted that they may be more.

Asked by a follower if there was any truth to the rumours of the band playing Download, he replied: “Stay tuned.”

Download festival is scheduled to take place from June 10-12 at Donington Park.
