ABBA Have No ' Motivation' To ReformJuly 7, 2008
Fans dreaming of an Abba reformation have had their hopes dashed by two of the band’s members.
Speaking ahead of the release of the film version of ‘Mama Mia’, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson revealed they had no ‘motivation’ to reform. Ulvaeus told the Sunday Telegraph: "We would like people to remember us as we were, young, exuberant and full of ambition." He added: "I remember Robert Plant saying Led Zeppelin were a covers band now because they cover all their own stuff. I think that hit the nail on the head." The Swedish pop legends last performed together in 1986, 12 years after inning Eurovision with their track ‘Waterloo’. (by Daniel Melia) See also: 'ABBA' To Go On 2009 World Tour (15.12.2008)
