Christina Aguilera, LL Cool J, Paris Hilton Remember Michael JacksonJune 25, 2010
Christina Aguilera, LL Cool J and Paris Hilton have been paying tribute to Michael Jackson on the first anniversary of his death.
The singer died a year ago today (June 25) following an overdose of a powerful anaesthetic at his home in Los Angeles. He was 50. Aguilera told CBS Jackson had an impact on her life even when she was a youngster. "I remember going to my high school talent show singing 'The Way You Make Me Feel' and being a huge fan of his album 'Bad',” she said. “I know all my dancers wouldn't be behind me dancing if it weren't for that." LL Cool J also had memories of meeting Jackson, and being told by the singer to “never limit yourself”. Appearing on The Early Show, Hilton added that there will “never be another Michael Jackson”. Memorials are planned across the globe today, including at Jackson's final resting place at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles.
