Snoop Dogg Wants Cameo In Coronation Street

Snoop Dogg has revealed that he is keen to make a cameo appearance in Coronation Street.

The rapper said he was a big fan of the show and had followed it regularly for 11 years.

"I had my agent reach out to them to see if they could try to get me on and they said they were interested so hopefully it might happen,” he said.

"It would be perfect for me to be on the show. I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into."

However, a spokeswoman for production company Granada said they had yet to receive an approach from the rapper.

"He's obviously a great character but hard to see how he'd fit into Weatherfield,” she told the BBC.

Snoop Dogg was speaking at a community event in Manchester, which also featured footballer Rio Ferdinand and Vampire Weekend.
