Orbital To Close The Other Stage At Glastonbury Festival

March 16, 2010
Orbital To Close The Other Stage At Glastonbury FestivalOrbital are set to close The Other Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The dance duo will play the headline slot on June 27th as part of a series of festival shows for 2010.

Paul Hartnoll said of the Glasto slot: “Getting Orbital back together was like a second chance at life. Closing the Other Stage at Glastonbury is like coming home for a massive party.”

Orbital's 1994 appearance on The Other Stage is part of Glastonbury folklore and is regarded by many as one of the defining performances the festival has ever seen.

Together with Glastonbury, Orbital will play Isle of Wight Festival, Guilfest, Glade and Coachella.

Glastonbury takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton from June 23rd to the 27th 2010. All tickets are completely sold out.
