Steve Albini To Work On New Scott Weiland AlbumApril 25, 2008
Producer and musical extraordinaire Steve Albini is set to work on the new Scott Weiland album, it has emerged.
The former Velvet Revolver man told infamous radio DJ, Howard Stern, that he has drafted in the producing legend as well as No Doubt’s drummer Adrian Young for the long-player. The as-yet-untitled record is the follow up to his 1998 solo effort ‘12 Bar Blues’ and is expected to be released this November. For those of you not in the know, 45-year-old Albini is the founding member of Shellac and has worked with the likes of Pixies, PJ Harvey, Joanna Newsom, The Stooges, Page & Plant and some band called Nirvana. Less impressive is the fact that he produced Bush’s 1996 album ‘Razorblade Suitcase.’ (by Scott Colothan) See also: Scott Weiland To Release Autobiography (17.09.2010)
