Madonna Offered '$1Billion Las Vegas Gig Residency'August 20, 2010
Madonna has been offered the opportunity to stage a gig residency in Las Vegas, according to reports.
The singer has apparently been approached about a five-year run of shows, which could earn her more than $1 billion, reports the Metro. Las Vegas has developed a reputation for artist residencies, with Elton John and Celine Dion staging previous stints in the city. Madonna completed her Sticky & Sweet world tour last September, which grossed an estimated $408 million. The star was recently linked to a reported hip-hop tour, which would last six months.
