Dr Dre Teams Up With Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent On New Song 'Syllables'

December 29, 2010
Dr Dre Teams Up With Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent On New Song 'Syllables'Dr Dre has teamed up with Eminem, Jay-Z and 50 Cent on a new song.

The track, entitled ‘Syllables’, is thought to be taken from the rapper-producer’s new album ‘Detox’.

The song, which also features Stat Quo and Ca$his, leaked online over Christmas and sees the rappers poke fun at bland lyricism in hip-hop.

“It is not about lyrics any more, it’s about a hot beat and a catchy hook,” Eminem can be heard saying.

Dr Dre is currently putting the finishing touches to his long-awaited follow-up to 1999’s ‘2001’.

In November, he released the Snoop Dogg-featuring single ‘Kush’. ‘Detox’ has yet to be given an official release date.
