'Drunk' Kings of Leon Win Three Grammy Awards

February 1, 2010
'Drunk' Kings of Leon Win Three Grammy AwardsKings of Leon scooped three gongs at the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night including the prestigious Record of the Year award for 'Use Somebody'.

Taking to the stage to pick up the Record of the Year honour, Caleb Followill said in a slurred voice: "I’m not going to lie. We’re a little drunk, but we’re happy drunk.”

After saying his thank yous, drummer Nathan added: "Whoever else I forgot, I’ll buy you shots.”

The Tennessee rockers won two other Grammys – Best Rock Song for 'Use Somebody' and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.
