Thom Yorke Showcases New Band Atoms For Peace In New YorkApril 6, 2010
![]() The band, which includes Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, wowed fans during the first of two shows at the Roseland Ballroom. As with previous dates last year, Atoms For Peace played Yorke's 2006 debut album 'The Eraser' in its entirety at the gig. They then left the stage before Yorke returned to play a series of songs, including two new tracks, one of which – 'Daily Mail' – the singer also aired in Cambridge in February. Yorke also surprised fans in New York with a stripped down version of Radiohead's 'Everything In Its Right Place', according to Rolling Stone. Atoms For Peace will play at the Roseland again tonight (April 6), before touring. The group are also scheduled to appear at the Coachella festival in Los Angeles later this month.
