Michael Jackson 'Won't Sing At Comeback Gigs,' Akon Claims

US R&B star Akon has said he believes Michael Jackson will mime at his London comeback gigs this summer.

The singer, who was worked with Jackson in the past, also revealed that he would visit the UK to watch the shows, which begin on July 13.

“Michael singing, I'm not so sure about. He will perform but not sing,” Akon told the Daily Star.

“He hasn't told me what he's got planned. He ain't told anybody. But it's going to be amazing, I can tell you that."

Akon added that his front row tickets are so close to the stage “you will think that I am on it”.

As previously reported, Jackson is currently in rehearsals in Los Angeles for his 50-night residency.

The singer is said to be in great health and looking forward to the concert, despite reports he is suffering from skin cancer, a spokesperson has said.
