Prince Ordered To Pay Video Editor $58,000 By LA JudgeNovember 10, 2008
Prince has been ordered to pay damages to a video editor who wasn’t paid for work he completed for the singer.
Ian C. Lewis filed the $1million lawsuit against the musician last year claiming that Prince had also failed to return equipment. On Wednesday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Alarcon awarded Lewis $58,000 but denied the video editor’s claim that Prince had broken equipment. Prince wasn’t represented in the trial after his attorneys withdrew from the case. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Lewis Hamilton Buys Prince's Guitar For $100,000 (14.04.2011)
