Pete Doherty Charged With Cocaine PossessionSeptember 28, 2010
Pete Doherty is one of three men to be charged with drug possession following an inquiry into the death of an heiress film-maker at a house in East London.
Robin Whitehead, 27, was found dead at a flat in Hackney in January. Doherty was charged with one count of possession of cocaine, while Peter Wolfe was charged with possessing and supplying the drug. Another man, Alan Wass – a friend of Doherty's – was charged with possession. All three men are due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on October 18, reports BBC News. Whitehead, an amateur film-maker, had been shooting a documentary, The Road The Albion, about the singer and The Libertines. She was the granddaughter of Teddy Goldsmith, who founded The Ecologist magazine. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Pete Doherty Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Possession (09.04.2011)
