Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour To Become A DoctorOctober 15, 2009
Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour is to receive an honorary doctorate from a British university, it's been confirmed.
The 63-year-old rock veteran will be awarded with an honorary Doctor of Arts for his services to music from Anglia Ruskin University which has campuses in Cambridge and Chelmsford. Alongside Gilmour, sweaty comedian Lee Evans will also be given a Doctor of Arts, while retired army General Richard Dannatt will be presented with a Doctor of Technology.
