Bob Dylan and Sir Paul McCartney 'Interested' In Music CollaborationMay 7, 2009
Bob Dylan and Sir Paul McCartney are both interested in teaming up for a future collaboration.
67-year-old Dylan, who celebrates hitting the top spot in the UK and US this week with 'Together Through Life', instigated the idea in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Asked if he would like to work with The Beatle and fellow music legend, Dylan remarked: "That would be exciting - to do something with Paul. But, you know, your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense." The Independent then contacted Sir Paul's spokesperson, who said: "I should think he would be very interested in hearing about it." As well as its pole position here and Stateside, 'Together Through Life' has hit number one in Austria and Denmark, plus top five positions in Germany, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Holland, Switzerland, New Zealand and Sweden.
