Sir Paul McCartney To Play Israel Next Month

Sir Paul McCartney's concert in Israel next month will take place on September 25th, local media reports claim.

McCartney was banned from the country over forty years ago along with the rest of the Beatles because Israel feared their music might corrupt the country's younger citizens.

Earlier this year, however, the country invited the band's surviving members to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Despite the reports, McCartney's publicist told the Associated Press that nothing has been confirmed.
