Slash 'Glad' Guns N' Roses 'Chinese Democracy' Is Coming OutNovember 4, 2008
Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has said he is pleased that Guns N' Roses are finally releasing their new album 'Chinese Democracy'.
The band's former guitarist told the BBC: "I'm glad it's finally coming out after all this time. It's good to hear Axl's voice again. That's what's cool.” Slash left Guns N' Roses in the mid-90s because of what's widely believed to have been creative differences with frontman Axl Rose. Asked whether he would considering returning to the band, he said: "You know what everybody asks the same question. But how the fuck would I know?" Slash was one of a number of musicians who attended the Classic Rock awards in London last night (November 3rd). As previously reported, Guns N' Roses eagerly awaited new album, 'Chinese Democracy', will be available on 14-track CD, digital download and vinyl from November 23rd via Best Buy stores in America. 'Chinese Democracy' will be released in the UK on November 24th. The album has been nearly fourteen years in the making and is reported to have cost Rose $2million.
